简介:AnovelsphericalSn/SnO2/porouscarboncompositeanodematerialwassuccessfullysynthesizedfromactivatedmesocarbonmicrobeads(AMCMBs)andSnCl4·5H2Oasstartingmaterialsbyasimplehydrothermalmethodfollowedbyheattreatment.SnO2dispersedonAMCMBwaspartiallyreducedintometallicSnfavorableforhighcapacity.Thestructure,morphology,andelectrochemicalpropertieshavebeenstudiedbyx-raydiffraction,scanningelectronmicroscopy,andelectrochemicalperformancetest.TheresultsshowtheporousAMCMBasasupportingmatrixsurfacesupportsthehugevolumeexpansionandkeepsthestructuralstabilityofSn/SnO2duringtheinsertion/extractionprocessoflithiumion.TheSn/SnO2/AMCMBsampleannealedat600?°Ctakesfulladvantagesofthesuperioritiesofporouscarbon,SnO2,andmetallicSnandexhibitsanexcellentcyclingperformanceandratecapability.Thespecificcapacityis451?mAh?g?atacurrentdensityof100?mA?g?after50cycles.TheSn/SnO2/AMCMBcompositehasalargepotentialapplicationasahigh-performanceanodematerialforthelithium-ionbatteries.
