简介:FeSisapromisinganodematerialwithhightheoreticalcapacityinsodium-ionbatteries(SIBs).Unfortunately,theunstablestructureandpoorconductivityofFeSlimititscommercialapplications.Herein,FeScoatedbywrinkledthinlayersofcarbon(FeS/C)issynthesizedbyusingasimplepyrolysisstrategy.Thewrinkledcarbonlayers,whichderivedfromionicliquids,effectivelyimprovetheconductivityandstructuralstabilityofFeS.WhenemployedasanodeinSIBs,FeS/Cexhibitshighcapacity,longcyclelife,andexcellentstability.Specifically,whenthecurrentdensityis0.1Ag?1and0.5Ag?1,thereversiblecapacityofFeS/Creaches404.7mAhg?1and304.8mAhg?1after100cycles.Whenthecurrentdensityincreasesto4Ag?1,thesodiumstoragecanmaintainacapacityof178.8mAhg?1after1000cycles.Theexcellentelectrochemicalperformancecanbeattributedtothewrinkledcarbonlayersthatenhancethestructuralstabilityandchargemobility.
