    简介:Thispaperbuildsuponpreviousresearchtodevelopanewmixedintegerlinearprogram(MILP)foroptimalPV-batterysizingandenergyscheduling.Unlikepreviousformulations,theMILPoptimisesunderbothtime-of-use(TOU)anddemandtariffstructures.Optimisationisbasedonthehighestsystemnetpresentvalue(NPV).OneresidentialandonecommercialcustomerareusedascasestudiestocontrastoptimisationunderTOUanddemandtariffstructures.OptimalPV-batterysizingisnotfoundtobeaffectedbythetariffstructuresanalysed.OptimalsolutionsunderbothtariffspreferlargerPVsystemscoupledwithsmallbatterysystems.EnergyconsumptionfromthegridunderTOUtariffoptimisationreflectsascaledprofileoftheconsumer’senergydemandcurve.Peakconsumptionfromthegridisheavilyreducedunderdemandtariffoptimisationtodecreasetheassociateddemandcharge.Intheresidentialcasestudy,peakgridconsumptionoveroneyearisreducedfrom5.98?kWhto2.25?kWhunderdemandtariffoptimisation.Inthecommercialcasestudy,peakgridconsumptionoveroneyearisreducedfrom450.3?kWhto348.6?kWh.Thereductionofpeakgridconsumptionisachievedbyusingthestoredenergyinthebattery.
